LG GD900: Transparent and Sleek
Posted by admin | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 29-04-2009

The GD900, which LG introduced at the GSMA Mobile World Congress, is branded as the world’s first 13.4mm-thick cell phone with a transparent designed handset.
LG GD900 transparent sliding cell phone has a sleek and striking design. Its transparent keypad has a glow technology applied around its edges to illuminate the etched numbers and is made of a real glass (and not with a high quality plastic) with multi-touch function. This Cell Phone has 7.2Mbps HSDPA connection for fastest browsing experience, 3-inches large screen display and features a matchless vibrational haptic feedback.
Most of its “advanced features” are being kept for the time being during its presentation in the GSMA Convention due to LG’s preparation for the proper launching of GD900 later this year. The company has also designed a dedicated Bluetooth headset to go along with their latest work of art.
In the meantime, the GD900 has a futuristic look that is bound to win many devotees as early as now. As more cell phone manufacturers compete to include new applications and electronic features and style, the simplicity in the user interface tend to get overlooked. Often it is the simple but beautiful gadget that gets to the top of the cell phone popularity chart in the end.
The LG GD900 clear handset phones are expected to show up in stores sometime in the third quarter of 2009 and soon be available in Europe and Asia.
